TinyTERM AX for Web runs on Windows 7 or 8, Vista or XP, or on Windows Server 2003 or 2008.
It requires Internet Explorer version 7 or higher.
Internet Explorer's security settings must be configured to allow ActiveX controls to run.
Set the Internet Options Security to Medium High, its default setting:

|
|
Windows 7 with Internet Explorer 9 |
|
Windows XP with Internet Explorer 8 |
If you prefer custom settings, ActiveX controls and JavaScript must both be allowed
to run. Otherwise, TinyTERM AX will fail to load.
Print Screen support also requires that protected mode be turned off for the zone in
which TinyTERM runs. Once the Enable Protected Mode box has been cleared, you
will need to restart Internet Exporer.
Once the security settings are complete, connect to the TinyTERM AX Web page.
Internet Explorer will prompt you to install the control. Allow the control to install
for all users. When that process is complete, TinyTERM AX for Web will open in the
browser window:
If you have an unsupported version of TinyTERM
already installed on the PC, TinyTERM AX may not load due to file version conflicts. In that case,
follow these steps:
- Uninstall TinyTERM through the Windows Control panel.
- Go to C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86) and delete the Century folder there.
- Go to C:\Windows\System32 or C:\Windows\Syswow64. If the file CenLic32.dll is there, delete it.
- Restart Windows.
After these steps, TinyTERM AX will run normally.
