Session Properties
Session properties control the connection and appearance of a TinyTERM session. To access the session properties, go to TinyTERM's Edit menu and select Settings, or select Settings from the Options menu.
Default Cursor Type
TinyTERM Plus version 4.12.2 added the ability to have the cursor change, based on the insert status of the terminal emulation. The user may select either a Block or Underline cursor, and choose whether or not the cursor is Blinking normally.
With Follow Insert set, the cursor switches from its default block or underline style to the other option when the terminal is in insert mode. This requires the terminal to report insert mode back to TinyTERM, so that it can change the cursor as needed.
ADDS Viewpoint and WYCOL Emulations
ADDS Viewpoint terminal emulation was added in TinyTERM version 4.8.0. This includes ADDS A2 Enhanced capabilities such as color and attribute support.
Also added to TinyTERM 4.8.0 is WYCOL emulation. This combines Esprit III color terminal commands with the ability to switch into a Wyse emulation mode and accept Wyse terminal commands.
IBM 5555-C01 Emulation
As of TinyTERM Plus version 4.8.2, TN5250 includes the double-byte character-set compatible IBM 5555-C01 emulation subtype. This terminal type permits display of DBCS characters, such as those used in the Japanese and Chinese languages.
Prevent Disconnect Before Logout
TinyTERM 4.8.0 also added a checkbox for Prevent disconnect before logout. This takes the place of the outfirst.cs script, though the script is still included in TinyTERM. With this box checked, a warning message will pop up whenever a user tries to close TinyTERM before logging out. TinyTERM will stay open and connected when the error is closed.
Century Software, Inc., recommends that neither this option nor the outfirst.cs script be used with RS232 serial connections. An RS232 connection actually connects to the PC's COM port rather than the host. As such, it doesn't disconnect automatically on logout. So once an RS232 connection is made, if Prevent disconnect before logout is set, TinyTERM will not close. The only way around that is to shut down Windows.
TN3270 and TN5250 Paste Continue
Starting with TinyTERM Plus version 4.8.0, TN3270 emulation includes a set of paste-continue options for pasting data. To access the settings, click the Setup button next to the TN3270 emulation selection. The Advanced TN 3270 Setup dialog opens:
There are three TN3270 Paste Continue Options:

Also available here are the four TN3270 emulation modes and several additional settings:

Paste Continue settings were made available for TN5250 also in TinyTERM Plus version 4.8.5. These are currently accessed through the TPX file setting pastecontinue, or through the te.paste(); script command.
TN5250 International Code Pages
Starting with TinyTERM Plus version 4.8.0, TN5250 includes multiple international code pages. In addition to Latin-based alphabets such as English, French and Spanish, this extends support to Japanese, Chinese and Korean display. And TinyTERM Plus version 4.8.2 added additional European code pages to TN5250 emulation. In all, 15 code pages are available in TN5250 emulation.
