The TERM Script Language command CONFIG SET causes Linux to produce a segmentation error and exit TERM 6.2.5b with a core dump. That TSL command loads the configuration variables into the current settings. It was fixed in TERM 6.28.

TERM for Linux 6.2.5b will not release a transparent print job until TERM is closed. This was fixed in TERM for Linux 6.28.

TinyTERM Web Server Shows as Web Server Client

In TinyTERM Web Server Edition, go to the Help menu and select About. It will show as “TinyTERM Web Server Client.” This is purely cosmetic. It was fixed in TinyTERM Web Server 4.20.

TinyTERM Thin Client License Failure

Some versions of TinyTERM Thin Client give the error, “Serial number does not match activation key” on install. This also happens with TinyTERM Web Server and TinyTERM Web Server Client in the same releases. It’s fixed in version 4.20.

Right-Click Menu

TinyTERM 4.30 added a right-click menu to the main emulator window. It allows copy and paste operations from the mouse. Previously, users needed to go to the Edit menu for that functionality, or program the mouse.

The Linux console was added as a terminal emulation in TinyTERM 4.21.

Can’t Set Parity in UNIX

Connecting via modem, when TERM tries to XMIT a string the connection dies. This was tracked to the parity not being sent. There was no option to set parity in the modem initialization string.

The workaround was to use the TERM Script Language command SET MASKPAR ON. This masks the parity being sent.

Explorer Caused an Error in Kernel32.dll

This error comes from running a TinyTERM version prior to 4.10 on Windows Me. Only TinyTERM versions 4.10 and higher are supported in that environment.
