In the TN3270 and TN5250 emulations, the system keys — Print Screen, Scroll Lock and Break — can’t be mapped with Shift pressed. Century Software, Inc., has had a request to make these mappable. This has not been implemented thus far.

This problem was first defined in a customer application. In one of the database screens, F1 should update the database with the information contained in the fields on the screen, then notify the user of the change. In TinyTERM Plus it does not update the database, but still indicates that it has been changed. F1 works properly everywhere else. This particular data entry screen does a callback to the emulator to update the screen. TinyTERM Plus does not handle it correctly.

After mapping the Fld+ key in TN5250 emulation, pressing it moves the cursor to the next field. However, sometimes it cuts off the last digit entered in the previous field. For example, if you enter $11.03 into a field and then press Fld+, the previous field will sometimes display $1.10.

When debugging RPGILE programs, the TN5250 emulation gives an invalid response. Thus, the debug never properly executes. In particular, it seems to happen when column 6 is left blank.

On a connection where you are able to type ahead of the cursor display, the TN5250 emulation will not buffer the additional keystrokes. If the cursor is not in the correct field when characters are typed, they are lost.
