TinyTERM ITX allows the user to set colors for foreground text, the background, the cursor and bold text. In contrast, TinyTERM for Windows allows the user to set sixteen foreground and background colors, covering all combinations of text attributes: normal, bold, reverse, blink and underline. However, it does not allow the user to change cursor color.
Century Software, Inc., has received a request to give TinyTERM ITX the same flexibility in color mapping as TinyTERM for Windows.

The Wyse50 and Wyse60 emulations display protected mode text as reverse on Mac, Linux and iOS devices. This is hard to read in some circumstances. Century Software, Inc., has received a request to allow other options for displaying protected text, similar to the options in TinyTERM for Windows.
In TinyTERM for iPad version 1.2.0, this was updated to display protected mode text in bold.

Many host applications display shaded boxes by drawing some of the character cells around the box in black. At certain screen resolutions, TinyTERM will display light-colored lines between these cells.
This is a draw bug allowing a TinyTERM default background color through. It happens on Windows, Mac and Linux platforms.

TinyTERM for Windows allows the user to select between block and underscore cursors. It can also have the cursor blink or remain solid. Century Software has received a request to add these options to TinyTERM for iPad.

TinyTERM for Windows allows users to enable or disable display of text attributes set by the host. For example, blinking text can be turned off, have its color changed, etc.
Neither TinyTERM for iPad nor TinyTERM ITX has this capability, other than providing an alternate color option for bold text. Century Software has had a request to add this capability for all text attributes.

In TinyTERM’s Session Properties, go to the Attributes tab and turn on the “Use non font-based line draw” option. Connect to your host system, then go to a screen that draws lines in a color other than the default. The lines will change colors, but refreshing the screen; i.e. by putting a new window in the foreground, then bringing TinyTERM back, changes the colors.
If you don’t set that option, line draw characters maintain the correct colors.

Century Software, Inc., has had a request for the capability to “invert” the background color, so as to not waste printer toner, during screen prints. Thus, even with a black background on the display, the characters will print on a white background.
This is not necessary when using the Print Screen option on TinyTERM’s File menu. That already prints black text on a white background, no matter how the colors are configured. This option would only apply to graphical screen prints in Windows.

The xterm terminal emulator in PIXIL Thin Client comes up in bright green on a black background. There is no way to change that color at present.

Century Software, Inc., has had a request to copy the text attributes with the text itself. That would preserve colors, bold text, etc.
The specific example cited was PowerPoint. With this feature added, screens could be inserted with exact display attributes, but the text itself could be edited.

In Wyse60 emulation, the code \033`F switches text from normal mode to reverse. But the text still displays normally in TinyTERM. If you open Session Properties and click OK, reverse text then displays properly.
