Wyse emulations use ^[cA to initiate a character set change, and ^Y to terminate it. TinyTERM always waits for the ^Y before displaying more data, so that the display will use the correct character set.
If the sequence never terminates, TinyTERM never starts displaying text again. This has the appearance of a hang, though the user interface works normally.
