The on-screen text in TinyTERM is drawn in individual character cells, rather than as strings of text. This keeps the spacing and alignment of characters in place.
This also make text selection much easier in a grid, by rows and columns. Century Software, Inc., has had a request to make it possible to select text line-by-line instead, similar to the way word processors and text editors handle selecting text for copy and formatting changes.
