In TinyTERM 3.3, modem settings require specific steps to save properly:

1. Go to the Configure menu and select Communications.
2. Enter a name for the connection in the box entitled “Network Node or IP Address.” Make sure the name has no spaces or punctuation characters.
3. From Port Selection list, highlight MODEM.
4. Click on the Modem button to the right.
5. Enter the phone number without any spaces.
6. Select the correct modem.
7. Click on Configure Modem and set the maximum speed of the modem to match the host system you’ll be calling.
8. Click on OK three times to go back to the main TinyTERM screen.
9. From the File menu, select Save ICONect.

You should now be able to connect to the host, and the connection should be saved.
