After uninstalling TinyTERM Plus or TERM Professional from Windows 95, you may see the error, “A required DLL file NCDMFCX.DLL was not found.” To fix this, manually remove Marathon Internet Services from the registry:
- Click the Start button and select Run.
- Type regedit, then click OK.
- Click the + symbol next to “HKEY_Local_Machine.”
- Click the + symbol next to “Software.”
- Click the + symbol next to “Microsoft.”
- Click the + symbol next to “Windows.”
- Click the + symbol next to “CurrentVersion.”
- Click the + symbol next to “Run.”
- Delete “Marathon Internet Services” from the keys on the right.
- Exit regedit.
