When using SSH with username/password or challenge-response (keyboard-interactive) authentication, TinyTERM for iPad will not connect if the password is blank. It expects a password to be entered, and the connection fails without it.

TinyTERM Plus includes a switch to enable extended attributes when using TN3270 emulation. However, most of the extended attributes are not displayed properly, even with that switch on. In particular color settings are not used.

TinyTERM for Linux currently supports only one emulation session. To work around this, multiple TinyTERMwindows can be opened, each with a separate session.
TinyTERM for Mac allows multiple windows, and multiple session tabs in a single window.
Century Software is currently working on allowing multiple emulation sessions in a single instance of TinyTERM for Linux.

Ubuntu 11.04 introduced the Unity user interface, replacing the Gnome desktop required by TinyTERM ITX. Ubuntu also no longer includes a number of software packages required by TinyTERM ITX for install. This causes TinyTERM to report that its files were copied, but nothing is actually put into place.
Century Software is currently studying the changes to determine how much work will be needed for TinyTERM ITX to run under Unity.

TinyTERM for iPad and TinyTERM ITX for iPhone both allow the user to build custom on-screen keyboards. The individual key rows are automatically centered when they are drawn. Century Software has received a request to allow the user to set a starting position for the keyboard, so that it can be left-justified.

Wyse emulations use ^[cA to initiate a character set change, and ^Y to terminate it. TinyTERM always waits for the ^Y before displaying more data, so that the display will use the correct character set.
If the sequence never terminates, TinyTERM never starts displaying text again. This has the appearance of a hang, though the user interface works normally.

Configure a TN3270 session, and set the type to 3278-5 (27×132). The bottom of the screen has a green line across it, with cursor position numbers below that at right.
Connect to a host after configuring this. The line and cursor numbers duplicate above themselves every time you switch screens. It makes tiers of them.

Configure TinyTERM to show the vertical scrollbar. Then use the bottom right corner to resize the TinyTERM window. The scrollbar changes its width and leaves visual artifacts behind.

Some hosts will send an eight-bit character or control sequence to a terminal emulation that is historically seven-bit. When this happens, characters draw incorrectly, screen position goes awry, and in general the display can become unreadable.
TinyTERM for Windows has an option on the Session tab of the settings to Ignore Graphics/Parity Bit. This causes all incoming characters to be read as seven-bit ASCII, fixing the display problems.
TinyTERM ITX has no such setting on Mac or Linux. This option was added to TinyTERM for iPad 1.2.4 and TinyTERM ITX for iPhone 1.0.1.

Every time a session is saved, TinyTERM stores the current hostname or IP address in the .tpx file. If the hostname is changed, both the previous and current address are stored. These can be accessed from a drop-down list on the Sessiontab of TinyTERM’s settings.
To remove this history list, open the .tpx file in a text editor. Search it for the line that starts:
node=
Delete all the addresses that should no longer be stored.
Century Software has received a request for a user interface option that will remove those extra addresses.
