It is possible to launch iOS apps from Safari on the iPad and iPhone. At present TinyTERM does not have this capability.

The Wyse50 and Wyse60 emulations display protected mode text as reverse on Mac, Linux and iOS devices. This is hard to read in some circumstances. Century Software, Inc., has received a request to allow other options for displaying protected text, similar to the options in TinyTERM for Windows.
In TinyTERM for iPad version 1.2.0, this was updated to display protected mode text in bold.

OS X uses function keys for a number of functions. So do most terminal emulations. Century Software, Inc. has had a request to add function key buttons to the TinyTERM ITX user interface, so that the keyboard function keys can be used for their standard Mac functions.

Century Software, Inc., has received several requests for RS232 serial support in TinyTERM for iPad. Now that the Redpark Serial Cable for iOS has been approved officially by Apple, we are exploring the possibility of using it with TinyTERM.
Adding Bluetooth serial support to TinyTERM is more problematic. As of version 5, iOS does not support Serial Port Profile (SPP). The best wireless solution for now is a wifi-to-RS232 device, which is fully supported both by iOS and by TinyTERM.

Many host applications display shaded boxes by drawing some of the character cells around the box in black. At certain screen resolutions, TinyTERM will display light-colored lines between these cells.
This is a draw bug allowing a TinyTERM default background color through. It happens on Windows, Mac and Linux platforms.

TinyTERM for iPad uses a fixed amount of space for its custom keyboards, roughly the same screen area used by the standard iPad keyboard. Century Software, Inc., has had a request to make that amount of space adjustable. In particular, fewer keyboard rows would free up screen space for emulator display.

Using SecureFT, the Century FTP graphical client, a remote directory with a sufficiently large number of files will not open. Because the files won’t list, they can’t be downloaded to a local directory.

To automate the login process in TinyTERM, open the Edit menu and select either Settings(TinyTERM 4.65 or higher) or Session Properties(TinyTERM 4.64 or lower). When the Session Properties dialog opens, click on the Login tab. Enter your username and password in the appropriate boxes, and check the Login at connect box. Click OK to close the dialog, then go to the File menu and select Save Session. The next time TinyTERM connects to the server, it will login automatically.
This process will work for telnet or RS232 connections. SSH connections include the username as part of the connection negotiation, so the Login at connect box is not available or necessary.
Automated login is only available in TinyTERM for Windows at this point. It has not yet been added to TinyTERM ITX or TinyTERM for iPad.
For more information about automating login, including the available control strings, please see this Knowledge Base entry.

When running TinyTERM on a Windows 7 PC and connecting via RS232 (Serial), the numeric keypad gives inconsistent output. At a shell prompt it works as designed. Inside applications, it fails intermittently. The Force NumLock On keyboard option has no effect on this behavior.

Century Software, Inc., has received a request to allow users to change the order of the connections listed in TinyTERM for iPad. At present, they are listed with the most recently created at the bottom.
