Right-click the “hammer-and-wrench icon” in the System tray. The Century LPD Server window should open.
Century Software, Inc., has had a report of this failing on Windows XP. Single-, double- and right-clicking the icon all fail. Running CenLPDstatus.exe again just produces a new icon. A thorough uninstall followed by a reinstall didn’t help. This has not been duplicated.

Century Software, Inc., has had a report from a customer using TinyTERM Plus for DOS. The PC has an HP 1100 on LPT1: set up as an LPD printer. Printing from both SCO and Linux systems, each print job produces three copies. Printing from DOS applications does not do this, nor does printing to locally attached printers on the hosts.
The PC uses a 3C509 network card on IRQ 7 with a packet driver. Changing the network IRQ doesn’t affect the problem.

Using Century Software’s DOS FTP client, connect to several FTP servers. Download a couple of files from each, then exit the FTP client after each connection and return to DOS. Around the 10th time you do this, the PC will hang. There is also an error on each quit or exit command:
run-time error R6001- null pointer assignment

The file transfer option Remote TERMCRC control does not allow another system to connect to TinyTERM and transfer files using the TERMCRC protocol. Instead, it always ends on a handshake timeout.

Several IBM RS/6000 models have two processors, a primary CPU and a service processor. When the system is powered down, but still plugged in, the service processor remains active. An IBM3151 terminal can be plugged into this processor via serial cable and used to manage the system.
TinyTERM plugged into the same port does not work until the RS/6000 is booted. At that point, TinyTERM works correctly.
