TinyTERM ITX 2 Product Description
TinyTERM ITX 2 for iPad provides 21 exact DEC, Wyse and IBM terminal emulations for
wireless access to UNIX, Linux and VMS systems. Comprehensive RSA/DSA key generation
and management combined with SSH and telnet protocols allow very secure access over
cellular or Wi-Fi networks.
Unlike terminal emulators using only the Apple on-screen keyboard, TinyTERM ITX 2
also features a fully customizable, on-screen PC-style keyboard with configurable
function key and numeric 10-key layouts to facilitate rapid data entry and minimal
retraining. For maximum usability, pinch and drag gestures allow quickly resizing and
moving the application display with the keyboard shown. The keyboard can be set to
partially transparent or quickly dismissed to use applications full-screen.
Application display can be precisely configured for each keyboard mode in both
landscape and portrait orientations. When the keyboard is dismissed, the same
information can be displayed full-screen with the font scaled to fit, or the number
of lines and columns increased allowing more information to be displayed with the
same font size.
Interoperability with other iPad applications is simple using copy/paste and
support for application sessions running in the background. Preset configurations
can be imported and exported via iTunes and email.
TinyTERM ITX 2 also works with all external Bluetooth and dock keyboards, with
the arrow keys, function keys and all control keys supported. A configurable on-screen
mini-keyboard can be shown to add keys not present in hardware.

Tech Tip: Each User Gets a License Prompt
Question: I've installed TinyTERM on a terminal server and licensed it as an administrator. But each new user who runs TinyTERM gets a prompt asking for them to enter the license.
Answer: This is due to the nature of licensing in TinyTERM 4.60 and newer. TinyTERM now uses a license certificate file license.crt, rather than a registry entry as in prior versions.
When this happens, the license.crt file was written to the administrator’s My Documents folder. This is one of two locations where the file can be written, and is normal for domain systems.
As a local PC administrator, copy license.crt to C:\Program Files\Century\TinyTERM. Make sure all users have read and write access to the file. That will resolve the issue.
New entries are continually being added to the Knowledge Base. If your
question isn't answered there, contact Technical
Support at (801) 268-3088 option 5. You may have information we need to
add!
