Tech Tip: TinyTERM AX for Web Fails to Load
Question: When I try to run TinyTERM AX for Web, instead of the emulator control loading in Internet Explorer, I get a red X.
Answer: This happens when an unsupported version of TinyTERM is installed on your PC. You can have a desktop version of TinyTERM for Windows installed and still use TinyTERM AX, but versions that aren't supported cause file conflicts that prevent TinyTERM AX
for Web from loading properly.
To get rid of the problem, uninstall TinyTERM for Windows. After that's done, check both C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows\Syswow64 for the file CenLic32.dll. If a copy of that file is in either location, delete it. Restart Windows, and TinyTERM AX will load and run properly.
